LEADERSHIP
Pablo Alvarez
Chairman and Publisher
Pablo is the Chairman and Publisher of the Real Estate Beige Book. He founded the Real Estate Beige Book magazine in 2010 at the end of the Great Recession.
​
Pablo was born and raised in Nicaragua. He attended the American University in Washington, D.C. and George Mason University in Northern Virginia.
​
After college Pablo worked at the International Monetary Fund.
​
When he started losing his hair, he left the Capital Beltway for the Sunshine State.
Marta Gonzalez-Pasos
Chief Operating Officer
Marta became COO of the Real Estate Beige Book in 2012.
Prior to joining the company, Marta worked for 16 years in the Organization of American States and in the Inter-American Development Bank.

Marta is the reason for the efficiency and the effectiveness of the magazine.
Ivan Alvarez-Baltodano
Editor-in-Chief
Ivan is the Editor-in-Chief of the Real Estate Beige Book.
He first came to Miami in 1954 probably in one of Pan Am's flying boats. Ivan later graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Finance and obtained his Master in Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

For over 26 years he was a banker; investment banker, development banker, S & L banker, international banker at Banco Ambrosiano, Italy, prior to joining the magazine.
​
Believe it or not, Ivan is also responsible for the social and psychological environment of the company.
